Job Opportunity: Operations Assistant

The Church:

Wycliffe Baptist Church is a thriving evangelical church, engaged in ministry and witness to our community in East Reading and beyond. We are an urban, socially diverse, multi-ethnic church, serving over 500 people across four congregations. During the week, our facilities are constantly in use and we have created a number of spaces, welcoming a wide range of people. We need someone to join out Operations team to help with the day to day running of our building.

The Role:

• Point of contact – answering the office phone, doors and emails.
• Venue management – room bookings, kitchen oversight, car park and key log
• Administration – financial administration, office filing, health and safety and supporting property maintenance

This is a full-time, permanent role usually requiring 9-5 office hours. Start in March 2023. The salary is £11.82 per hour.
