LIFE: Learning, Intercession, Fellowship, Evangelism

We encourage everyone who attends Wycliffe to become part of a LIFE Group.

These are groups of 8-12 people, who meet together weekly for friendship and fellowship, for prayer and Bible study together.

We meet weekly at the member’s home in Lower Earley. We study the Bible, pray and enjoy fellowship together.  The group consists of people from different countries. Most of us are retired, but we welcome younger people with or without children. We have social events, including outdoor activities in the summer and we celebrate Christmas and Chinese New Year with the Wokingham LIFE Group.

Our evenings are a mix of Bible study, prayer and sharing.   Our aim is to walk alongside one another and to bring God’s love to each other through the joys and challenges of our everyday lives.  Socials have included meals, dog walking, river swimming, bowling and tea and crumpets. Our age ranges from 20 to 50 plus years.

Taking Time Out

Community Bible Study exists to make disciples of our Lord Jesus Christ in our communities, through in-depth, caring Bible Studies available to all. Read the full story. CBS is not a Wycliffe run group, but is hosted in our church.

This study programme is a great and easy way to learn about the Bible with a small group of people. The group has a dedicated leader who will help the discussions and guide the group through a structured lesson plan.
